Word Heist is developed by Stackbit. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
Word Heist uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication to create a random anonymous user ID. This ID is generated automatically — you never provide any personal information to use the app.
We do NOT collect:
If you choose to join or create a group, the display name you choose and your scores are stored in Firebase Firestore and visible to other group members only.
Word Heist uses the Anthropic Claude API to generate word and rule combinations. No personal data is sent to the API — only game parameters like difficulty level and language preference.
Game progress is stored locally on your device. Group data is stored in Google Firebase Firestore. All transmission is encrypted via TLS.
Anonymous Firebase accounts inactive for 180 days are automatically deleted. Local data remains until you uninstall.
Word Heist is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
